The tasks of W3P2 were largely done on a decent level. Some spreadsheet submissions were downgraded for not using absolute reference (as was required) and in some cases not using formulas at all. The SQL task was largely done surprisingly well. The DSS/KMS discussion was done on the level slightly above average (could have been a better research with more serious own contributions). This is why the average grade was not 6 (as I described in the tasks) but 7.
Analysis of the course as IS was done quite well. There were many 9 point grades (seriously above average performance), but nobody got 10.
Congratulations with good work and learning important materail in this short semester! Hope it will allow you to see system and IS features in the world around you.

Notes on W3P1 Grading
Basically, the class showed a good effort and understanding of the material. Hope it will be seen on the quiz...
Apps were done fine, but in blogs a few students didn't do the task dropping below the curve and pushing those who just do everything up.
Cloud computing posts were largely done on the level of 7 points since there was little original thinking and input. Students in their grades showed understanding of this fact.
In E-Business discussion the level was also average (about 7) but a few students didn't do the replies also pushing them down the curve and others lucky ones up.
The grading task was done on a very average level with 6 points for all 12 grades but when the commentary didn't show real analysis. A small group of students did only 8 grades - which decreased their grade (also for not reading Q&A where I explicitly said about ALL forums = 12 grades). And a very small group didn't do the grading by, again, pushing their grades down and the rest up.
This shows the importance of reading the tasks and checking if all was done before finishing work. Also reading the blog and my replies to students' posts (as well as Q&A) helps since I reflect on visible problems. You have a little bit left - please focus, who hasn't done it already.

More on self-grading...
Some students do not read Q&A (which they have to) where I said that ALL THREE forums should be graded with total = 12 students graded.
If, at least, they read my blog - then there probably will be time to add 4 more students to those who did only 8.

Embedding tables and sheets into your blog
If you want to embed a database or a sheet into your blog so that EVERYONE can see it (like in case of apps) - you need to click on the link when you are the Publish dialog in Zoho:
"To access this view/table without login , Click Here"
If you want only me to see the embedded table (like students' grades) then DO NOT click on it and only I will be able to see it as a database group member (this is the beauty of security and privacy measures on zoho).
If instead you see:
"To make it prompt for login , Click Here "
Then it is already publicalyy visible but if you click on it - it will make it visible only to the database group members (me).

Grading Task for W3P1
Some students already started emailing in their grades, but you should pay attention to the need of CREATING A ZOHO SHEET in a table form described in the tasks, exporting it as a .csv file or creating on your home Excel and saving as a .csv file. Then attach it to your email which is described in the tasks. If you have trouble in understanding .csv format - google it. It is just a comma separated text...
If you tried to import your .csv file back into zoho or even open it on your own computer - you will notice that it automati cally starts ANY Spreadsheet software that is there and opens your csv file in it as a spreadsheet. Since it is a simple text file, it allows exchanging spreadsheet files between different systems like zoho, Excel on PC or Mac, OpenOffice, and many others. This is one of the collaboration ways and using networks for sending widely accepted formats.

Re: problem with embedding into blogs
Zoho - Blogger embedding mechanism has been described in the task T2.4.
Some students corrected the database code (spreadsheet code was OK) but didn't paste it into the HTML/JavaScript gadget window. They should re-read T2.4 and redo those tasks because the problem will continue decreasing their grades since you will continue embedding content into your blogs. Also, although they will not get lost points for these task done after the deadline - they might get better standing in the merit/effort evaluation which might affect the grade up to half a letter grade.
Also, when somebody corrects past problems and shortcomings - please email me about your effort and the location of the successful result so that I will consider it in merit/effort evaluation which will go along with attendance evaluation that can still be improved for some students.
