Most of you have completed a rather advanced task learning to use spreadsheet app that are becoming very popular for organizational use in mobile and virtual teams (sharing option). But there were some problems that should be understood in order to have a good finish of the course:
Problem 1: inattentive reading of the tasks where each word means something and each phrase is a requirement, not complying with which will lead to point deductions. Like not sending me the login information for zoho which after the first day (didn't lead to zero points) will make your grade zero – so who hasn't sent it do it immediately
Problem 2: attendance problems show by some students (remember that evaluation of attendance will have an impact on your grade (up to 10%). Attendance is in reading (in addition to the tasks) my comments to student's posts (especially yours) during your DAILY logins, in reading my blog (mandatory), in my answers in Q&A forums, and in reading your email. Speaking of email – if you ask me for some assistance (email or messages) – read your emails often (like every 20 min since we will be in a dialog mode) and especially closer to the deadline.
Problem 3. Deadlines will be enforced and posts after it will be graded at zero. The best way to succeed is to do the tasks earlier so that in case of a problem – you get my feedback and can do the corrections. The feedback might be not to your post (if you have the same problem that I've already commented on in other posts done earlier than yours). The feedback (if it seems to be a general problem) might be addressed in my blog. After the fact, it is always commented on in your grades.
Problem 4. Students do not start the tasks by actually reading the chapter properly. This would allow to save time and gain quality in preparation for the quiz and in doing ALL assignments. It would also allow students to get better knowledge for the same time spent (and bang for the buck).
